This swing from Graco tries to combine the benefits of a full sized baby swing with the convenience of a compact portable swing.The swing works well as a portable swing but in full size mode the swing may still be smaller than you may expect.
If you expect to use the swing infrequently the swing folds down easily to a very small size, perfect for storing away in a cupboard.
This is a low cost swing and some features of more expensive swings are missing, there are no songs or music to entertain your baby. This baby swing is also missing a mains adapter, powered by 4 C batteries which give roughly four hours continuos use could soon become very expensive.
Noise issues have been noted when the swing is in operation, while you can not expect absolute silence a distinct clicking sound may become unbearable.
Although the swing is said to be able to swing babies up to 25 lbs there are reports of the swing not working correctly when the baby weighs less than this.
This is a solid baby swing but if portabilty is a major reason for buying it then the Comfort & Harmony Cozy Kingdom Portable Swing may be a better bet.
