Weighing only 11.8lbs but able to carry a child up to 50lbs the Kolcraft Cloud Plus stroller is an excellent choice for those parents who want a compact and nimble stroller that doesn't cost the earth.Many parents use a lightweight stroller as a backup to a larger more substantial and markedly more expensive standard stroller, the smaller and more agile lightweight strollers are perfect for travelling in busy areas.
Trying to collapse in the best designed standards strollers can be difficult with the Kolcraft stroller it can be collapsed with one hand and still remains upright on its four wheels.
Although the stroller weighs under 12lbs it does not feel flimsy, the seat back is fairly rigid and it would have been nice to have some additional padding.
The front suspension and all terrain wheels give a smooth ride and the stroller feels well balanced. The rear wheel brakes feel secure and the five point harness is a nice feature (many similar strollers only have a three point harness).
Reclining is handled by a simple adjustable strap, this works very well although it will not recline to a fully flat position. One very good feature is the over-sized visor which be extended to protect your child from the elements.
The Kolcraft Cloud stroller is not without a few faults however, these mainly concern the storage elements. The storage basket is adequate but nothing more and the two storage tray cupholders are slightly odd sizes. The main niggle is with the child tray, you have to snap it off to place your child in the stroller. This is not a huge deal but it would have been more convenient to have a hinged tray, perhaps this will be implemented in a newer model.
This is an excellent lightweight stroller that easily deserves its place amongst the best sellers.
